Kids @ Wilder
Teachers and home schoolers - bring your students to historic Wilder Ranch to learn the ways of yesteryear with a first hand look into the past from atop a working wagon.
Kids, parents and teachers will gather together in our wagon for an exciting ride through the park. Students will thoroughly enjoy this memorable experience. Randy Clayton, owner of Santa Cruz Carriage Company will be your personal guide and wagonmaster, providing you and your group with natural history, ranch history, local legends and lore. Everyone will learn something along the way with many experiences and stories to share later in the classroom.
Combine your morning wagon ride with an expanded historical tour offered by Wilder Ranch park docents and you'll give your students a history lesson they'll never forget.
See the Horses and Wagons
If your time is limited or you can't book a wagon ride, you can still visit with Randy as he tends to his carriage and draft horse business at Wilder. He always has time for the kids in the community. Come and see the where the horses live and enjoy a day in the park.
Please contact us for Wagon Ride pricing and details. All age groups welcome. Rain cancels the ride.
